  1. my guess would have to be that the fake sugar is either from a plant that also works with non vegan ingredients or something in the fake sugar is derived from animal product.

  2. Soda water with fruit juice of any kind will always be way better than soda. There’s just so much sugar, and not enough caffeine to make it worth the tooth decay lmfao. It’s just, so syrupy for no reason.

  3. Are you talking about the US or elsewhere? Because I emailed PepsiCo just last year asking if US Diet Pepsi was vegan and they responded that while neither the USDA nor the FDA have actual guidelines about what constitutes vegan, none of the ingredients in the US version of Diet Pepsi are animal based.

  4. I dont know the ingredient(s). BUT the sodapop can be vegan and a part of the packaging can contain porc. I know one case of wine : inside the lid can have a flat round thing inside that is made from porc jelly. Fact the wine is vegan but not the lid (cork or screwable top lid)

  5. Not meat, probably not milk, must be eggs then. Maybe a bit of eggwhite to simulate the syrupy mouthfeel of sugar. Totally unnecessary and kinda fraudulent but that's the same as all beverages including alcohol. They don't have the same requirement to disclose ingredients as they would if it was food. Crazy huh.

  6. Vegetarian but not vegan… I’m going to guess it’s trace amounts of honey. If it was trace amounts of milk or eggs they’d have to put an allergy statement on it. “May contain traces of…”
