thanks for compiling this video. it's a frickin goldmine compared to other meal prep resources I've found.
so freaking helpful and extra emo today about vegan cause its earth day and stuff, and to me vegan is so much better for the planet
I keep 90 second rice around. I buy it when it's on sale. I like to keep fries in the freezer. Sometimes my health doesn't allow me to do a lot. It's finding a balance for me.
Hello, Thank you for your insights. Can you recommend a good quality food processor that does the chopping, slicing, shredding. Thanks
Natural herbs from Dr Madida are healthy to treat and cure herpes virus as it worked for me. Am so happy and grateful to Dr Madida for his help in curing me of my herpes virus.
You don't know how many hours/days I've spent looking for a video with this info. Thank you so much!
I love it
This is so good. Thanks a million.
feel directly attacked with the "stick to that list" comment LMAOOOO
I have been vegan for just over 7 months now I do almost all of these same things great tips I wish I knew this type of stuff when I started
AMAZING VIDEO – Thank you Candice!
Fun and practical ideas. I’m going to try the potatoes and tofu that way. Thanks!
Thank you so much for showing how to slice with the food processor, I have one but I never use the slicer because I'm scared of slicing my finger instead and I never knew that was what you used the extra plastic thing for!
These are fantastic tips!! Having different elements to play with, instead of the exact same meal every day is such an awesome idea. I am going to get to planning asap!!
These a great solutions for busy people. If you have even an extra 10 minutes the food is more nutrient dense if it is not prepped days in advance.
I just KNEW you would have an edgy take on this topic…so glad I asked! 3 bases + 3 proteins + 3 greens + 3-4 veggies (1/2 roasted). + 3-4 sauces/dressings/dips = a TON of diverty flavorful, textural options for meals all week that promise not to be monotone. Yippeee!
I back away from a :protein" protein us in broccoli, most veg, whole grains and yes legumes lentil and rice! Sure you can focus on protein. Pumpkin seeds higher in protein than tofu! Its more balanced meal if cooking for health reasons. If only for taste…its balance of taste, flavors, textures and mouth feel!
Meal pep talk 😌
what was the tool you used at 5:12? the little light over the potatoes?
Great and informative!
Excellent and informative.
I’m so happy YouTube suggested your channel. I am a newish vegan, still in my first year. This video helps so much. Best wishes, Gez
Woah! Thank you for sharing the food processor tip! I had no idea! Ordering one now and can’t wait to save so much time lol
I’m the only vegan in my house so I tend to make 2 proteins and 2 carbs and 2 veggies and then mix and match through out the week. It saves me time and money. I tend to have the same 2 breakfasts all the time and just have those ingredients all the time.
❤️Love it!
loved the chicken fried mushrooms, you re the only subscription i have on you tube.
I am INSPIRED!!!!! 💛
Great video! More like these pls
Wow! So delicious 🤤
Vegan tip I tell people is to follow ur channel…I've been vegan 7 years and I found u at the beginning really..used so many of ur ideas life saver thank u 💖
i never really meal prep per se, but i really like preparing vegetables for example and put them chopped up in the freezer. it's so easy to use it in soups or pasta/rice dishes. it saves so much time.
it's also great if i buy some vegetables on sale and i can't finish them on time, i just freeze them 🙂
basically, use your freezer if you have one.
man! this is a helpful video. thanks! looking for ways to save with all these damn price increases. appreciate the tips 🥑
Thanks so much for your ideas.
Great tips! I always plan meals the same way too: a starch base, protein, vegetable and sauce. I need to use my food processor more for chopping vegetables. Great idea!
these are really great tips!
Imagine NOT thinking about food all day long, NOT having to “meal prep”, NOT being hungry 2 hours after you ate, NOT having your teeth fall apart, NOT developing infertility, NOT being moody and irritated all the time! ….just eat some meat and dairy….problem solved! Lol
You are Amazing !! 😀
Nice video.
Great video
Great tips! On the point about washing and chopping veggies right away I'm of the exact opposite opinion though lol. I like to keep them dry and spread out in the fridge and then wash and chop only the amount I need as I use them throughout the week. If you wash and chop first I've found the excess water can easily turn greens into sludge in just a day or two. And if you chop early you destroy the natural protection most veggies with their full integrity have against spoilage. BUT I get why you do it the way you do. If you chop with a food processor it's easier to do it all at once. I chop with a knife (I've gotten pretty efficient at it since I've been doing it for years) and that's way easier to clean after use. And because I use a knife I intentionally use bigger chops of veggies to keep the work small. Great video though!
Thank you for this SO MUCH!! I'm trying to transition to a vegan lifestyle and this really helps <3
I dated a vegan chick once who said she didn't eat meat 🤔 but when we took the next step in our relationship and did the cross leged twist 4play occurred that was the moment my vegan girlfriend stated eating meat again….
Nope.
Super useful tips!! Hugs from Italy 💗
Another good tip my nan uses for her meat, put the date on your containers for when it went in the fridge! That way you know how long its been there. If you have say 2 containers of carrots you know one might be going off soon
