  1. No, that French chef only claimed to have discovered aqua faba and its uses. It had been used long before in Switzerland, Austria (during WWII), and I bet even before WWII, and in the original chickpea countries.

  2. Realizing this is 5 years ago, what a wonderful discovery! Yup, been using Aquafaba for at least 5 years and love it. looked for an alternative to buying cans of chick peas (due to the carbs and not able to use), found an alternative from Vor Foods that offers a powder version of aquafaba that only needs water to reconstitute. Works perfectly!

  3. STOP. Aqufaba is really bad for your gut health and can cause miscarriage. Just because vegan doesn't mean healthy. Nil goodness in it. Only been used since 2014. Google the facts if you don't believe me. And….I AM VEGAN.

  4. just to let people know, do your research on the dangers and side effects of aquafaba. no one mentions them, it destroys red blood cells, and contributes to leaky gut syndrome. as good as it sounds, i certainly wouldnt use it. we have rinsed any and all beans we eat, all my life, and i'm 68. yes, please do your research

I always had good intentions of using the aquafaba and would put it in the fridge, but would often forget it was in there until I was cleaning out the fridge πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ. So many great recipes provided and I don’t want to keep wasting this culinary gem!πŸ˜ƒ

  6. I'm wondering if that water tastes "bean-y" at all. I mean I would hate to buy chickpeas, which I normally don't use, and spend all the time to make the meringues only to have them taste beany or have a beany aftertaste.

  7. Juste coock 1 kg of beans (poichiches 😜😜) and when cold separate the aquafalba and then freeze on several parts
    Regarding the chickpeas freeze them too
    In small bags – when you will fancy to make a nice HUMMUS – or differents recipes then take the quantity that you need for
    Healthy without chemicals 🌹🌹🌹😁😁😁

  11. Just found your video! I just tried using aquafaba in my chickpea omelet…Usually the batter I make from the chickpea flour is quite dense and flat, but whipping the aquafaba and adding it to the batter gave me a fluffier, more "egg-like" omelet texture! Gotta love that bean water!!
