I love how all these chefs come up with insane ways of cooking the eggs — like stir over extremely low heat for half an hour or dangle a wok over a volcano while stirring the eggs with piece of the True Cross — instead of just admitting they taste good because they added a sh*t ton of butter, cream and creme fraiche.
So a Michelin star chef cooks it on high heat not low and stirs vigorously, removing from and engaging back to the heat. They also don't put salt in the eggs before they cook. Always add seasoning after cooking.
I swear Michelin star chefs just like to make things the most complicated way they can, even if they don't taste better, just so they can charge more money 😂.
Guys if you want the eggs more firm, just leave out the creme fraiche. Blows my mind that adding a creamy component makes people think the eggs are less cooked.
Am I the only one who doesn't like scrambled eggs to be like custard? The texture is off-putting for me, and my brain thinks it's not cooked all the way. I prefer to just add cheese to my scrambled eggs. Call me simple 😅 Edit: To the person in the comments who passive aggressively made another comment just to be rude about my opinion, get over yourself. People are allowed to be different. Just because someone doesn't like their eggs prepared a certain way doesn't mean you get to act so pretentious. Get out of your bubble if something as small as an opinion on texture blows your mind.
