While soy may not be unhealthy, it does get put into alot of unhealthy porcessed foods such as processed meats and cerials which arent a omg dont eat that food but lets not lue and say its healthy. Although it also gets put into stuff like tofu that wont really effect you negatively, unless your me ofc. Im allergic to it so stuff like chicken stock, certain peanut butter, and basically every japanese dish put there effects me
East Asians have the longest lifespan and they eat miso and natto. Natto fermented soybeans actually have good microbacteria. It's a superfood. Miso soup fermented soy bean paste actually absorbs radiation. But you have to balance the salt out with high potassium citrus foods like lemon water.
Soy is sprayed with toxic hexane and is a hormone disruptor, soy oil is one of the worst foods there is, never take health advice from a orange haired tatooed woman.
Omg thank you for that info my grandson, well all of us cant do dairy and Wic is giving him Silk Soy and I worried because of what was said about it. Thank you 🙏🏾 But I dont like Tofu tho 😅
Not buying it, the source alone being soy bean is aweful (maybe the most heaviest yet cheapest farmed food on the planet), how could processing that further be healthy? Scrap those studies (as parties paid for them to be conducted).
I’m Chinese and Chinese people have been eating tofu and drinking soy milk for centuries with none of the “problems” that are claimed today. This ridiculousness needs to stop. The other day I had a friend tell me they don’t eat rice because it makes you fat. I just can’t 😂 I give up.
I'm not vegetarian/vegan or lactose intolerant, I just really like soy milk and tofu. I had estrogen-driven breast cancer and checked with my oncologist about soy safety. She said the same as you – it's not a health concern in any way. I've continued to include soy in my diet and have been cancer-free for 6 years. 🌱
I know you mean well, but this message is irresponsible. You should eat whatever you want in peace, but saying it's good for you is irresponsible. Do more research.
The Chinese have been eating soy for 1500 years. If it was all the badness that people claim it to be I imagine there'd be ample evidence of it by now.
Tell that to my thyroid, I am not dogging on soy. I love tofu. Tofu used to be a staple food for me, as were cruciferous vegetables, why did my thyroid go all hypo on me.
Yes… soy is bad for you. Is DOES increase estrogen production — which is why women with hormonal type cancers are told to stay away from it, it’s not for no reason, most of the time it is genetically modified — which is a whole other discussion but not a positive thing like you may think, a LOT of people are allergic or at the very least sensitive to soy, it’s inflammatory, high in omega 6’s, which can cause your omega 3:6 ratio to be WAY OFF and be the starting trigger for all sorts of thyroid based hormonal problems, blood sugar problems, mental fog, and on and on. So the short answer is YES.
I agree with you. The only thing that is questionable in my mind is that it is a commodity traded in the stock market and there for I have doubts there is true organic soy out there. Just a conclusion I came to from my research.
Yes, it does mess with your hormones… estrogen overload… I wonder if people are just saying it’s healthy because they can’t give it up.
333 million Asians can't be wrong.

Not true it’s not good for us it lowers testosterone in men
Phyto estrogens don’t affect hormones say it with me
if it would be so bad according to their logic why are they feeding cows mainly on soy to raise them then?carnist logic is just retarded
Even if it were bad, let people make their own bad decisions 😂
THANK YOU
I had a allergy test, said I was allergic
My mother claims that soy was the cause of her thyroid problems

I'm a vegetarian and you said at the end stop being a fucking potato and let me eat my tofu. Potatoes are awesome and I'm a paneer gal

Also so insulting to the Asian community who have been eating soya for thousands if years!
“47 randomized butt controlled trials” 😮😅
But it is important to purchase non GMO, organic soy. I have used the conventional soy and it did have a negative affect on my hormones.
I just heard that soy isn't healthy for a young child because it can affect the ovaries. That's what we where told from the doctor😮
Please eat a lot of it.
This stuff is terrible, I eat it it locks up my joints and makes me feel like death. I removed it from my diet and feel better
Yess it’s almost never a good idea to get info from a seller they have hugeeeee biases
i like this… i don't agree with everything… i like it… but the info could be more accurate, like mentioning, "Domesticated soy," accuracy.
Tell that to my thyroid, I am not dogging on soy. I love tofu. Tofu used to be a staple food for me, as were cruciferous vegetables, why did my thyroid go all hypo on me.
Love you!
soy is my best friend she’s so versatile like tofu edamame soy milk miso soy sauce natto she does it all
Thanks for this info, it helps
I love this, I'm so sick of the BS about soy!
Lol, amazeballs 😂
Actually it is a phyto estrogen, so yeah
Thanks, that was just what I needed to hear right now. 😊
