Wow, great video! Straight to the point and informative. Thank you! Which carbon steel pan would you recommend?
the silicone spatula which is one of the most useful kitchen tool since the invention of the pot is painfully missing from here and derfinatrely one billino tinme more important than juice squeezer (for an example)
Great video. There's a better way to zest a lemon. Put the tool on top, so you can see how much of the peel is coming off and prevent from going too deep into the bitter pith.
Thank you for including helpful product links. :-))
Also, plastic cutting boards puts micro plastics into your food.
That Boos board is much worse on your knives than the average plastic board.
Also KITCHEN SCISSORS!
I have a metal cutting board, it is by far the best thing I've ever chopped on and I just rinse it down after!
Great advice! I have almost every one of these. 😊
Totally agree with the rondeau pot, chinois, and a few others. But if you buy a solid potato ricer you don't need to buy a juice squeezer. And rather than an offset ladle, I would buy a Chinese wok ladle. I would also suggest buying a cut proof glove along with the mandolin. Because that's an accident you don't want to happen. Someone else mentioned a bench scraper, and I absolutely agree. One I would add that most people don't, a salad spinner. Not only can you properly wash your salad greens, but you can also help dry items for stir fry.
You are completely wrong about wood cutting boards
You should include your sink spray head.
Excellent list. Saved this to my YouTube favorites in Chrome for future reference/shopping.
Thanks Chef.
I opened the videos because of 11
You forgot the maryse
Sorry but ALL these things are pretty ordinary things to have in your kitchen. Nothing special or amazing to see here. This is more a list of things you need if you’ve never cooked before. 😂
I use flexible plastic cutting boards to transfer ingredient to my stand mixer, so there is a use for them.
What kind of wood is the Boos?
What you call a swiss peeler is no different than a standard peeler.
Stop cooking animals enough of dead bodies in cooking there is much veggies to cook instead and be creative cooking animals is the easy way
I hope you still get and hopefully read this message/comment but where did you get/buy your three set rondeau pots? And, did they come with lids?
Thank you!!
Roundo pot or Dutch oven? Is the a difference?
Tweezers are easier to handle chopsticks 😂😂
carbon steel pan cannot cook acidic food, i think stainless steel is really for everything.
Who knew a cookie cooling rack is called a wheck?
Your kitchen is already spotless… the only thing missing is something to keep those lids from dripping on the counter 👀
I bought a carbon steel pan and a stainless steel pan. I do 99% of my cooking in the stainless steel one. Carbon steel seemed like a great idea until I figured out that 80% of my cooking has some sort of acid in it.
Pressure cooker — biggest time saver there is.
It took me a fricken long time to find a mandoline I like, and learn what to use it for so that the process isn't a punishment.
Using a mandolin without a glove or the holder that comes with most of them is asking for a trip to the ER.
Thx great list
Get a G-Shock watch, not whatever you're wearing. Needs to be quartz and 20 bar…and apocalypse proof.
Thank you for the list!
tweezers, you mean chopsticks.
