Have you tried the jackfruit with the rice paper skin? I saw one other post that said it was better than the soy. I can’t do the soy so I’d like to see some other people trying the jackfruit.

So I was watching Rocco Di Spiritos tv show this morning and he said chicken skin doesn't add anything to fried chicken but fat. He says the crispiness is entirely in the breading. So he skinned the chicken and threw the skins away… And then breaded the actual meat instead. Obviously he was cooking real chicken not a vegetarian version but it makes me think that you could simplify a veggie mock chicken by focussing on the breading rather than the skin… Just a thought.
I couldn't resist trying a small piece of the chicken I was frying for the cat boys.. sorry.. it was so.o.o gud.. I see why they love it.
