  1. To follow up the another's question, are we using semi-sweet chocolate here or a regular chocolate bar.? I believe the chocolate chunks are semi-sweet, but what about the bar to melt at the beginning of video? Anybody?

  4. Hey guys! I made these and it tasted amazing. I’ve been looking for a good brownie recipe to achieve that crinkle crack top and FINALLY! This recipe did me some justice, here’s some tips!

    1. Instead of mixing the melted butter & eggs, I melted the butter inside the microwave for at least a minute. I melted the chopped chocolate with the melted butter in a bowl. I made sure it wasn’t too hot, but still hot enough to melt the chocolate

    2. I whisked the sugar & eggs together in another bowl until I could barely feel the sugar crystals If you want the cracky top. This will give time for the butter-chocolate mixture to cool down.

    3. I mixed the butter-chocolate mixture with the eggs-sugar then added only half a tsp of sea salt, I folded the rest of the ingredients.

SO BOMB!! I followed the measurements of the ingredients in the vid, I baked mine for at least 39 minutes bc my pan was thick.. & PREHEAT YOUR OVENS! Highest temp for 5-15 mins depending on your oven.

  5. INGREDIENTS
    8 ounces good-quality chocolate
    ¾ cup butter, melted
    1¼ cups sugar
    2 eggs
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    ¾ cup all-purpose flour
    ¼ cup cocoa powder
    1 teaspoon salt

    PREPARATION
    Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C.
Chop the chocolate into chunks. Melt half, then save the other half for later.
Mix the butter and the sugar, then beat in the eggs and vanilla for 1-2 minutes until the mixture has become fluffy and light in color.
Whisk in the reserved melted chocolate (make sure the chocolate is not too hot or else the eggs will cook), then sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, being careful not to overmix as this will cause the brownies to be more cake-like in texture.Fold in the chocolate chunks, then transfer the batter into a parchment paper-lined square baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, depending on how fudgy you like your brownies, then cool completely.
Slice, then serve with a nice icecream!
