  1. I tried to make this… I got stuck on the second mixing part from ‘soft’ to ‘hard’ peaks. I even tried new egg whites and after over 20 min of mixing I gave up… I’m not blaming the recipe, I’m just sharing my frustration

  2. I went to an authentic French Kitchen today and they used powered sugar to the egg yolks…that was eventually added to the chocolate and cream with beaten egg whites. Pretty much like your recipe. So delicious!

  6. Made this today for a dinner this Sunday. Bought an affordable Faberware stand mixer. It took longer for the meringue, but it was worth the wait. The whip cream whipped up great. Anyway it is very very good. Thank you!
