  1. While I do use cake mix for certain applications, in the OGC the Cake Mix method…I did NOT…care for the processed taste at all. I can definitely taste it.

    And there is a 3rd method which is a homemade ‘slightly chewy’ cake without the yeast.

    I use a recipe I found online years ago and I love it.

    But I will try a yeast version next and compare those two.

    Cake mix version is trash on my tastebuds.

    I said ‘Cake Mix’ and MY tastebuds…not yours (whoever you are)—so don’t come for me.

  2. I'm wondering since my oven is broke if this could be baked in an air fryer or on the stove top. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  3. Beautiful !! This is the way I learned this recipe about 35 years ago… The cake mix method is alright but once y’all have this y’all will never go back to that mix!
