  1. 💚 Love you, mean it…………. love you long time now. I have been working this egg thing. in over the last. 6mos or so. truly good stuff
Vegan to my soul ….. such a good way to live.

  2. every single vegan egg recipe online using mung beans has the texture of pancake paste, sticky, nothing like the cogulation of an egg. for example an egg can be added to boiling water and coagulate, this would never do that, this would turn into a mash potato texture.

problem is all the fiber. real eggs have zero fiber, mostly protein.

we need a recipe or process for removing only the fiber and isolating the protein. otherwise buying an isolated protein fiber would be very expensive defeat the whole purpose of making it ourself, no money saved.

  3. Love this recipe! TIP: If you're making an omelette using a stainless steel pan. Before flipping, drizzle a bit of water around the edge of the omelette and cover with a lid for 1-2 minutes. The steam will help release the 'egg' from the pan. I also use a stainless steel spatula to help get a clean scrape around the edges before flipping.

  4. Well, not that you're going to see this comment, but I think this mixture might do better if the mung beans get soaked twice to get as much of the starches out, then adding a little more liquid so that when it hits the hot pan, you can use the moisture evaporation to make it more…. well like justegg. Justegg is expensive because they use mung bean protein isolate, plus binders.

  5. I tried this severa time now😢 and I don't know why but my scramble eggs can only be scrambled after they are cold. They have a gooey consistency when I cooked them 😢 any idea why? I use the same ingredients as you do.

  6. I just made a double batch of this recipe and it is so good! So glad I don’t have to buy super expensive, super processed with preservatives just egg anymore! Thank you!

  7. I just made this and it turned out red when I did an 8inch omlette in a pan. Why would it look yellow pouring in and turn red when cooked??
Still tastes good but mine was pretty thick…I'm thinking less baking powder when I make it next time..also am thinking of trying oat milk powder + water to hopefully keep costs down. Plant milk is pretty expensive and I never use it all before going bad.

  8. Can you use moong dah or chick pea flour vs dried beans? Wondering if you could make your own just egg bottle and freeze in batches? I have frozen Just egg liquid and it freezes well. Would think you could do with a homemade mix too?

  9. Completely unrelated, you hair and dress color combined are a gorgeous duo. You look amazing!

I’m looking for an alternative to Just Egg because I can’t do the prices anymore.
