I have cooked roasts and steaks in the microwave with great results. The first microwave we had came with a manual that gave you recommended cooling times for meat and other items. For roasts/steaks 21 minutes per pound (half way through flipping the meat). I have always followed this ever since and had great roasts and steaks.
One caveat, I do like well done. If you want medium you'll have to experiment with the cooking time. The key is to make sure you have some kind of cover over the meat (plastic microwave lid/cover or wax paper over the plate/dish that you are cooking the meat) so that as it cooks the moisture doesn't escape, but drips back on to the meat. It actually turns out quite moist, and browns quite a bit.
She is not doing this properly she put no butter on the top bread facing upwards she is suppose to turn it half way she had the cheese hanging over ths edge l have never preheated it before l put the sandwich in microwave l could have explained better than she has how to use this properly, she ate a bite of the roll before properly checking if that burger was cooked properly.
Way too small for paninis
Hold the mustard.
shouldve spooned the burger juice back onto the burger, or add some butter(opposite the cheese side)
"bloody meat juice coming up, it's gross; i don't think i can eat this; this is what nightmares are made of"… that's what I would expect to hear from someone who has never cooked a hamburger before, lol. you… uh… get "bloody meat juice" any way you cook a burger. Grill, pan, flat top, oven, air fryer, microwave, doesn't matter…
As a video editor / producer, I think it was a huge mistake to put those comments at the beginning. I get you want the equivalent of a buzzword headline to make people want to watch for the "disaster", but instead you made it appear that your host had no idea what they were talking about and probably shouldn't be reviewing anything related to cooking meat, let alone a burger (when that wasn't really the case); and I feel like you'd get as many people clicking off because "oh this won't be a good / honest review". I was going to, but then I decided to keep watching b/c I assumed it was going to be a trainwreck of a failed review.
From the rest of the video she does appear to know what she's talking about, at least re: cooking a burger on a pan, but clearly has no idea re: microwave; as it is…. actually very easy to cook in the microwave without turning it into a chewy hockey puck. Still helpful to see that this gadget doesn't work all that well.
You are using it upside down; much easier to open the tabs when facing the other way!
Who puts mustard and ketchup on the veg side, you monster.
You can put a cup of water in the microwave to soften the bread
It's always funny to me when I'm at a restaurant and the waitress asks me how I want my burger done, and I say cooked, like I don't care just don't kill me
The reason why I coke to tasty is katie Kelly and jasmine the best trio after the golden trio
Won’t that burger be the same if you just microwave it on a plate?
You don't need those. Get a microwave friendly container. Mine is a clay bowl that has a lid to keep grease from popping.
I would like to see a chicken waffles maker!1
I can make a burger in a microwave
I'm gonna make a spicy aioli. But with no garlic…
Katie:you can always add,but you cannot taketh away.
Subtraction:why the hell do I exist!?
This is a great host! Very funny and intelligent 😁
I wish she atleast season that patty lol
Put the mayo on the outside of the sandwich. It'll crisp up better.
The patty doesn’t have any grill marks cuz the patty is pretty thin
Love the chancel, watch it all the time. I was thinking you guys could try some tupperware products. Tupperware has always been big but now it is even bigger. Sales have been crazy during COVID and are on the rise. I am a consultant, and it would be interesting to see what people think of the products who test out so many different types of cooking tools.
Can't beat the George Forman grill..! Where everyone college student probably would no know how to live without.
The burger looks like my cafeteria food
When renovating or remodeling a kitchen, you'd be amazed what you can cook and bake in a microwave or toaster oven.
Including some fantastic spaghetti and meat sauce in the microwave!!
3 mins for 8 pounds…. 1.5 for 4 right? Or did i do my math wrong?
That looks like cheap, nasty turkey deli meat that you can buy at 7-11
What a pretentious toastie
Thinking about cooking in a college dorm. Never understood why my campus didn’t have a kitchen for the freshmen on campus lmao. Remember doing a quesadilla with a iron. Wonder if the panini would be better if bread toasted then use the microwave gadget lmao i hated eating in college
Allioli doesn't have mayo in tho xD it's a mix of egg, garlic and oil. And I should know because I'm Spanish, always lived in Spain. Please get your facts straigth, America.
2:28 🇺🇸 “sourdough” every german: 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️

I just looked these up online, thinking of getting my college kid one….THEY’RE $30!!!😳🤭🙄😖
Try chinese stuff and you know it
No way that burger could be any good. I didn't see not a spec of salt or pepper hit that patty. I know expectations were low and all, but gotta season your food people!!
Katie is the female doupleganger of shane dawson

“I’m amazed as to what can be cooked in the microwave!”🍔
