I could make a better vegan steak when I was 18 years old. People like Gordon Ramsay shit on vegans constantly and then have the audacity to call themselves master chefs when this is the best they could do with an entire day and an unlimited budget. I could make a vegan steak, vegan fried chicken, and a vegan burger that are all cheaper, tastier, and healthier in half the time it took him to desecrate an eggplant. Like that eggplant could have been a delicious lasagna. What a waste.
I just don't get why gordon doesn't just cook normal vegan stuff. Like noone asked him to be the new sauce stash. He could just make a delicious pasta dish or something. I'd love to have a renowned chef make a simple vegan dish, but explains why certain things are added and something that bursts with flavour. In masterchef they always talk about "oh it oozes flavour" "this is perfectly balanced". I don't need another mock meat. I need a perfectly flavoured and balanced meal

I genuinely think this was a prank by Gordon to all vegans to try… Bc he has actively made fun of vegans or vegetarians. I actually love him and think he is an excellent chef and does a lot of good for a lot of people but….yeah, this seems like a prank.
I'm pretty sure you weren't supposed to leave all that shit in the pan with the eggplant. It's probably also burning because you had the oven on broil before so it was too hot. You were probably also supposed to remove the rosemary sprig, too. Why did you put that much salt? It still looks like a turd though. Blech.
My brother in law made a “chicken fried steak” from portobello mushrooms. OMFRICKINGOODNESS!!!!!!!! It was so dam good. He made mashed potatoes and gravy with it too. So if you’re feeling ‘edgy’ 🤣 and up for a challenge, there ya go! 😁✌🏾 Love your channel ❤️😍
