For macaroons the wafers you mentioned are rice paper circles so you can just cut circles to size from sheets of rice paper 😁 💖

Last recipe is called "Kokosmakronen" in German. And interestingly, the wafer thingies (Oblaten) are the same thing you receive in church during communion. It's such a popular Christmas cookie, my grandma used to make them all the time.

Is it a North American thing to bake soft cookies/biscuits? I think where I am from we bake them hard because a) then we can dip them in our tea, and b) if we didn't the humidity would destroy them in hours.

The cookies sound really good. I'd love to make a chocolate chip version so it's both chocolatey and cinnamony. Would be great for Christmas. Or even half dip them in chocolate. I'm really inspired. Is there a substitute for molasses if you can't get it?

😍🥰 the macaroons. Too cute.. A little bit of music goes a long way. In my opinion you use too much music. You are great. Your food looks great. Even your mistakes are drool worthy. I just have music preferences and video music is never one of them. A tiny bit at the beginning or the end maybe a splash in the middle…. other than that you don't need it.
