I wouldn’t use Canola oil though. Grass fed beef tallow or ghee is much healthier.
DO NOT USE CANOLA OIL. YOUR LIVERS CANNOT PROCESS IT. IT NEVER COULD.

I'd avoid corn starch or at least put way less than I did.Made a brown slurry which I had to remove it by hand. Annoying!Also don't need salt if soy sauce it already very salty. I'd cook everything separately. Better to cook everything separately then combine toget later

I'm diabetic so I use avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil. And replaced corn starch with Arrowroot starch. And I skipped the sauce on the veggies since it's sugary. But it still came out great and loved it.
I ordered beef and garlic sauce – no vegetables- from a local Chinese restaurant. The lady yelled at me! “It just going be beef and sauce!!” I know, that’s what I want! 😂 Now I can stir fry at home and not get yelled at!

This is a nice method but instead of egg add extra cornflour, bicarb, sugar and oyster sauce and after using the rest of this cooking method add a little water and then you don't need the slurry which dilutes the flavour and makes it floury.
