As far as I know crab imitation meat has no crab meat, but rather fish purée and some other special ingredients.
I think he grabbed the wrong package at the store and tried to play it off.
Someone who is allergic to Gluten as most companies use a wheat based food glue to hold the fish together to for the imitation crab.
