  1. I have watched SO many impossible vs beyond taste tests and have had them both myself because im a vegan that really misses the taste of meat, and this is the most comprehensive amazing video that i have seen on it. I have looked at the packages and watched tons of videos about them and still didnt know some of the differences you mentioned. Thank you for this great video!

  2. I've never liked hamburgers, so I'm not drawn to the one that imitates the flavor. I prefer the more digestible protein, which is pea (not soy). I prefer Beyond (all around), but impossible is usually cheaper. I feel like the impossible is impossible to digest, and it hangs in my gut for a couple of days.

  3. That's neat! I've tried beyond but haven't gotten around to impossible yet. I did not know about plant-based heme so I'm very excited to cook it for dinner tonight! Thank you for the video! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. No one has mentioned the smell of the burgers before they are cooked. I don't know if it is a problem I have, but I get a strong smell from the Impossible burgers, that is really bad. It is a smell that you don't get from real Beef.

  5. FYI vegan has nothing to do with animal testing. The reason impossible is not vegan is, it has 'heme' multiplied by yeast and yeast is considered an organism …to multiple the heme taken from the soy.

  6. โ€‹@EdgyVeg Do you make your dog be Vegan? I don't really believe that it's right to subject my animals to Veganism, especially my cats, since they're obligate carnivores. I have seen people who have fed their cats vegan diets & their health declined very quickly, especially with renal failure. & unfortunately they dยกโ‚ฌd young. ๐Ÿ˜ฟ

  7. At this point Iโ€™m on impossible side Iโ€™m not full vegan but I dabble one reason is I can not stand ground beef anymore it makes me wanna vomit but I recently had tacos and sloppy joes with impossible and I was good enough to cry over having a sloppy Joe again and the tacos were amazing in the own right

  8. As people are choosing either or, or both they're getting played by ruining their health for if you go to the Doctor after eating this shit that is pure garbage you'll find out that you are ruining your health. Don't take it from me, take it from people that hve gone to a Doctor and saw there was no change in the way they are eating or or when they made the change to plant-based meat and chicken from either of these companies or both they found that their health is worse and their cholesterol is bordering on making them diabetic. So people like this lady that are praising plant based food are getting played and have bought a one way ticket to having high cholesterol or even worse.

  9. Hello! Great video.

Just to let you know (I wish someone had told me this earlier so I prefer to tell you)Ketchup is said to be vegan but it has sugar. Some sugars are not vegan (burnt animal bones or fish to give its white colour)

  10. GMO crops do NOT contain glyphosate, aka RoundUp. They are IMMUNE to glyphosate, this is why they need to be GMO, because non-GMO crops would be killed along with the weeds. In fact, no food should contain glyphosate, or any herbicide or pesticide, if it's been processed correctly.

On a completely different note, while im not vegan myself, i enjoy well cooked vegan cuisine, but i will not eat meat knock-offs, which are ridiculously over processed. Also, i don't understand vegans who refuse to eat animal products but have no qualms eating something designed to taste like animal products. It smacks of hypocrisy to me. It's also unnecessary since true vegan dishes are delicious without having to fake anything to taste delicious.

  11. Impossible Whopper was the first time I ever tried plant based burgers. I'm not vegan. I'm mentioning this before, although Impossible Burger is considered vegan, as the person stated at 10:14, she orders them at restaurants, be advised that some of these burger's may be contaminated due to being prepared on the same equipment as the meat burgers are on. So it's recommended to ask if plant based burgers are prepared separately. This is why Burger King can only state plant based only.

  12. For me, someone who enjoys actual meat, the Impossible tries so hard to emulate it whereas Beyond is just focused on doing its own thing : being a meat substitute. Also, the seasoning tastes better in the Beyond. Furthermore, back when Burger King was selling the Impossible Whopper, I immediately noticed the blatant lack of non-burgerness. I mean, BK Whoppers already have a very specific flavor profile that standard ground beef doesn't, and my memory is that the Impossible tasted a bit more bland than that. In short, the Impossible doesn't have much going for it. It's the middle ground between actual meat and Beyond, not particularly leading at anything but you could totally use Impossible to custom season your vegan meat.
