Lol "quick"
correction:
Turkish yoghurt.
Too much vinegar! You only need a splash in the water, otherwise you get eggs that taste like vinegar.
thank you
How much time do you think we have in the morning?
I want to come to turkiye 😢
first of all yogurt is an old Turkish word from central asia. It evolved from the old Turkish word yoġrut “solidified milk product”. This word is derived from the old Turkish verb yoġur- “to raise, to thicken” with the old Turkish +Ut suffix. Since there is no soft letter g (ğ) in the Western alphabet, it is written as toghurt.
there is no such thing as greek yogurt.
in Türkiye we make this recipe with “strained yogurt” which is thicker than normal.
This was very interesting
it's yoğurt from turkish yoğurmak "to knead"
Yoğurt is not greek, it is a Turkish food.
Breakfast of the Sultans with Greek yogurt 😀
YOGURT BELONGS TO TURKİYE
Greek yogurt is an insult for a turkish breakfast when yogurt is all along turkish but westerners learnt it from greeks. And no surprise yogurt houmus doner kebaps and baklava are all greek naturally.
