Yes, fresh tuna makes that much of a difference. Once I started making our tuna salad with fresh tuna, my daughter couldn't eat canned tuna. She shared her tuna sandwich with a family member & he couldn't get enough.
I am trying this!! Thank you
Green onions
Add a little bit of wasabi instead of mustard/tabasco takes it to a new dimension
I love making it this way! 100 times better than the canned stuff.
It thought it wasn’t good to put hot food on the fridge is that wrong?
Who has made this and how does it taste?
how long to cool the ahi in the fridge? 30 mins? 1 hour? 1.5? i realize this is an old vid but I just now saw it.
I use yellowfin Tonnino Ventresca tuna in the glass jar packed in olive oil. Very good if you don’t have raw.
Kosher dill 🤮🤮🤮lettuce.tomato and hamburger dills ! 😋
Use some Tony C's Creole seasoned salt and skip the hot sauce.
I heard it’s not safe to put hot food in the fridge? Gotta let it chill till room temperature first
I am gonna make it and eat it tomorrow……ill thank you tomorrow cheffy….❤
not nearly enough mayonnaise
Omg how fresh😋🐟
What temp should the tuna be
For it to be cooked but not dried out
Finally a cook who uses real tuna fish for tuna salad. Thank you❤
YUM! I'm def gonna try this!
Nice Bro ! Try it with blue fin tuna and save some for breakfast , do the same with coffee in the morn and holy sheite. Wine crackers and cheese ain’t got nothin on this, it’s a flavor explosion in your mouth.
I might have missed it, but was there a temp to get filly cooked without drying? 145F maybe?
2 bucks for can of solid white tuna = 4oz drained wt. = 8$ lb. 5 lb case frozen tuna steak from restaurant supply = 40 $. 40/5 = 8$ lb . . . .know what im sayin . .
Enough said…super yum !
Yum
Why does the tun look so overdone
Yummy 🤤, can you boil it ? And if so how long ?
Wonderful
Put butter or lemon on it so it wont dry siri gotta try ur sandwich though boss
I'm sure this is delicious, but seems weird to waste fresh tuna on salad. Maybe if you have leftovers make it into a salad.
I must try. I've seen tuna frozen at grocery outlet and can't wait until I do. Thanks for hip me to this. Holla
I make mine very similar, except I also add softened cream cheese along with the mayonnaise and mustard. (I don't add Tabasco sauce though. I might try that next time.🤔)
He’s a super solid chef.
I made this right away, and i agree, i will never buy the cans again. so fresh tasting.
Why… Because canned tuna is cheaper 😂😎
This looks so delicious. Thank you!
Are you sure about 7 to 8 minutes a side at 450 to 550? For tuna? I understand you want it cooked through, but I would think it would be burnt to a crisp. Not trying to be smart, but that would be an expensive mistake if you burn it.
Oooh, looking forward to trying this. Thanks chef!
You read my mind! I’ve been craving some good tuna salad
