  1. I do this with fried fish ๐Ÿ™‚ I wash the fish off and let the excess water drip off then put it in the batter and fry. Works perfect every time. I like a thinner crust on my fry so I prefer this. Still get the yummy flavor of batter but also you can taste the fish better.

  2. Dipping them in water gets rid of the excess flour so your oil wont go dark from the burned flour at the pan bottom.. i normally fry my fish this way.. so good and not that much of Hazard
