Dear Manjula, i made this soup over and over again for the last decade. I love it. I miss you putting out new recipes and giving us little snippets of your family life. I hope you fared well through the pandemic. Best wishes to you and your family.
Good 👌
An O.G. Manjula video. Thanks for all your work over the years!
Wonderful! Thank you.
I hope all is good manjula. Its 2018 and i still learn new things from you!
Hi I would like to know how to cook
Ymmm….another yummy favorite soup to warm and shoo away the winter chill, I was wondering why only in 7 minutes, ah, you used a pressure cooker, my mom when she made lentil soup, as with beans, would leave the washed lentils soaking in clean water during the night and then next morning cook in her earthenware pot, she only put chopped tomatoe, onion and cilantro as the seasoning it was good, but yours is a must try,….only thing I'll have to go shopping online with some Asian grocer for the garam masala, thumbs up my dear Manjula Ji, Happy New Year's 2018 and sending you greetings from Mexico! 🙂
We can use any lentil ?
This is a great idea to use pressure cooker, it will save so much time.
Absolutely the BEST lentil dish I've ever tasted, I ate every bit of it. Thank-you Manjula. Love your videos. Please keep them coming.
thank you Manjula . do i have to use string beans ?
Thank you Manjula for your recipes. You help me so often and i really love learning new great tasting dishes from you. I love my county of America but the food is getting boring after eating the same things over and over for 32 years. I love to travel around the world now via YouTube trying out a little taste of every place. Nothing makes me happier than tasting new foods from far away places.
Tried the Lentil Veg soup by Mrs. Manjula…O-M-G!!!!! So good, so fast, totally restaurant level taste…from my kitchen. Next time I crave Indian cuisine I am putting my apron on and heading to Manjula's Kitchen channel! Thanks so much for sharing this and all the other recipes. Can't wait to try all the vegetarian delights!
Thank you for sharing. I am no familiar with Garam masala. I will have to find it and try it.

"Coconut oil is composed of a group of unique fat molecules known as medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA). Although they are technically classified as saturated fats, this fat can actually protect you from getting a heart attack or suffering a stroke."
