This is Mangalore bonda. Not Mysore bonda for which Urad dal is the main ingredient.

This is Mangalore Bonda (also know as mangluru bajji) …..where as mysuru Bonda is made using vegetables like potato (a spicy potato smach is created ) and diped in beatted gram flour and deep fried
