  1. This video deserves more views! First time ever making Wild Rice Soup and my parents where quite impressed! My mom said that my grandma would of been proud. I even made some bread bowls to go along with it! Wonderful recipe 10 out of 10!

Based on this recipe, I'll make turkey wild rice soup today with Thanksgiving leftovers. BTW: your roasted pork loin with mustard cherry sauce has been a game-changer in my entertaining! THANK YOU!

    May I ask a favor, Chef Parisi? 

    I know young men and women like yourself are used to saying, "Me and _____." But as an excellent chef-educator, will you please make a resolution for 2025 to try to remember to be polite and put the subject first and you second? For example: "Mom and I are making turkey wild rice soup today." "Dad and I enjoy roasting a pork tenderloin." "My viewers and I love to cook." 'Me' is always used as an object and 'I' as a subject e.g., "My viewers (subject) love me (object.)", plus it is just polite to give the other subject first billing in your speech. You will be upping your game, which is already wonderful, and helping young cooks with their culinary skills AND professional language.  Winner!

  3. I love a recipe like this that I can tweak to my taste. I added leeks, more mushroom, carrots. I also added about 1/2 tbsp of Italian seasoning, fresh thyme and rosemary, how much is up to you. Just don't overdo it, you can always add more but very hard to take a flavor out. It's delicious. Though next time I'm leaving the chicken out totally. If you wanted to make it vegetarian you could change the chicken stock to veggie. Add a little more seasoning and it would be great. If veggie doesn't allow cream and you have added even more veggies, pull out a ladle full of veggies and use your immersion blender, then stir it back in, it would make it creamier.
