As a person who has been vegan only a year and a half, your cooking tips and recipes have been invaluable to me and helped me get out of a rut. Now I am excited about cooking and eating again! Cooking is a creative outlet I have been sorely missing as of late; but now I am back in the saddle again and that makes me really happy

  11. I know this video is a couple of months old, but I wanted to offer my support. I'm new to your channel, I only discovered it an hour or so ago so I've only seen a few of your videos, but I was instantly drawn to your vibe. I might be wrong but you strike me as someone who prefers to keep problems and pain to yourself and just continue with a stoic attitude while downplaying how much something is affecting you, so I think it was brave of you to address this and show your vulnerability. I hope are in a good place now and enjoying your new living situation. Congratulations on the book, it looks great. Very best wishes to you.

    I've been single for longer than I want to admit.
    My child has type 1 diabetes and epilepsy.
    I'd MUCH rather be alone than deal with the typical omnivore posing their fish kill, along with all the other SHIT I already know I have ZERO interest in.
    I know it hurts, but this is a time of growth.
    It's MORE than okay to be alone, live life the way YOU want.
    But more than this?
    KNOW what you will tolerate, and what you WON'T.
    Stand up for YOU, always!

  14. I was in a relationship for just shy of 20 years, and I've been solo now for close to seven years, and I'm here to tell you that I absolutely LOVE it. I have embraced it not as a temporary thing but as a way of life. But it wasn't an easy thing at first, and it wasn't quick. It took a lot of work and effort on my part — as in LOTS. I'm an atheist, but I'm big into Buddhism, which really just consists of a series of exercises, and Buddhism techniques and mindfulness really helped a lot. I also read some books by other people who have embraced being on their own, as well as watched YouTube videos I found on the topic.

  24. @Edgy Veg, Candace, gurl, I know you didn't just apologise for crying because you love a baby you had in common with someone… 🙄 My late husband and I fought over custody when he threatened to leave me (his addiction had taken him over). Hon, he didn't act like he even cared about our other baby! That baby died a couple years ago, and now the one he wanted to take from me is literally dying at my feet this moment. I'm doing everything I know how to keep him comfortable, and keep him company. Every other pet of mine or others I've fostered literally just died within a day of showing any signs of old age. My Alistair has been suffering since losing use of his rear legs last month, and almost can't move now. I feed him by hand, change his towel and wee rag on his dog bed frequently, scoop his poos, and can't sleep well, because I dream of either caring for him, or finding him dead. At least you will know your Special K is alive and well, and you can tell so-&-so to send you pics and video, expecting him to want to see same from you of the rest of the bunch. I stayed with an ex for years, for fear of losing one of our two cats. That was dumb. You are stronger than I was, sugar. You are something like I wanted to be when I grew up; I just f*cked a lot of things up by staying with toxic people. You inspire me to want and hope for more. When Alistair dies, if I don't drop dead next to him, I will try to pick myself up and do more, finally. I'm a 54 year old widower, living with undetectable HIV for 25 years, artificial hips for 20, and was a caregiver for over 7. I am ready for more. Blaze on, strong woman. Be well.

    i already wanneted to buy ur first book last christmas…

    u know, for under my christmas tree…

    but i eventually didn't came around doing so

    yea, i know i should show a little bit more dedication to ur channel…

    but i promise to buy both ur books next christmas… and put them under my christmas tree

    cause all i want for christmas… are ur cook books edgy veg

    so i can put them on a stand on my kitchen countertop…

    together with some plants standing around it…

    maybe u could even have a throne standing somewhere…

    and whenever u would make one of these life sharing videos, u could sit on ur throne…

    while u'd be sharing what's been on ur mind lately… or how ur day's been like

    i think that's how i'll be rounding up this comment edgy veg…

    with the image of u sitting on a throne…

    and on top of the world!

    with those foxy eyes…

    that stunning hair…

    wearing some high-end fashion clothing

    let's just take a moment to grasp in that image shall we?

    and while we're at it…
